almost ready!
well... i'm almost finished my packing - only thing left to do is get some cash and clean my house! the weather here is cold . . . -29C last night with wind chills as bad as -42C. brrr.
I was thinking about you this a.m., when I heard of the below 0 temps, and wondering if you'd left for Rome yet. What good management on your part . . .to leave as true winter sets in! We're expecting an ice storm tonight and over the weekend, so I took a long walk and did some lawn work this morning in anticipation of being "cooped up" this weekend. Have a great trip . . . I'll look forward to your posts from Rome!

Ok, it's much colder there than on the West Coast but damnit we still have snow....that really sucks.
